Requirements:
    It is assumed that there is an SQL server running on the system.

Folder content:

"componet POS" contains Subfolders "POS data", "POS exe", "POS forms".
   These folders contain programs data and forms released at the time of this installations
   wrighting. You should check for updates to these as the software is contiually evolving.
   These would be copied to the c:\pos folder.


"Redist" contains the installation programs and data for the finger print reader.

"Scripts" contains the scripts required to attach the database.

"SNC_TA DB" contains the database in a compressed archive.


The Database:
    Copy the zipped database snc_ta to the target system. 
    Extract to the SQL data folder. Usually c:\program files\microsoft sql server\mssql\data

    Copy the scripts folder to the target system. The folder must be in the root of c:.
    Example: c:\scripts

    Use the script TA_AttachDB.bat  to attach the database to the sql server.
    Use the script TA_GrantAccess.bat to allow access to the database attached above.

ODBC:
    An ODBC connection is required on all PC's running VCRetail4.exe and SNC_TS.exe. 
    Use the ODBC administrator tool to create a system DSN TAdb. 
    Select SQL authentication. select default database SNC_TA.


The Biometrics Finger Print Reader:
    Required for all units using the finger Print reader.
    If using the Biometric finger print reader from Authentic, copy the redist folder to a temporary folder. 
    Then install the drivers in the redist folder. Read the readme.txt in the redist folder for details. 

    Copy the program ATAware.exe to the C:\POS folder. 

Configuration:
    There is a new version of FDNDC. To enable relational database for time and attendance.
    The field is "Enable SQL T&A System" = 1 = Enabled.

    There is a new version of PSTL2. To enable the Biometric finger print device.
    The field is "Enable Biometric finger print device" = 1 = Enabled.
