NOTE: - Prompting for the PIN will only occur when a PIN has been entered on the customer record. - Personal identification numbers are assigned uniquely and have no special computational basis. \12 CREDIT LIMIT Shows operator the house charge limit. * An establishment can set a acceptable charge limit per customer. * The credit limit is enforced when: 1. A DAY, MONTH, YEAR (1,2,3) entry is made in the CREDIT STATUS field. 2. An amount is entered in the CREDIT LIMIT FIELD. If the amount in the CREDIT AMOUNT field is ZERO )0), the EXCEED Credit LIMIT test is ignored at the time of tender. \13,14 DAY Credit Used: * This field shows the amount of charges to the house for the current DAY. If CREDIT is to be restricted by day, then enter a (1) in the CREDIT STATUS field and enter the daily credit limit in the CREDIT AMOUNT field. EXAMPLE: Daily house charges limited to $5.00. Enter a (1) in the CREDIT STATUS field Enter a (5) in the CREDIT AMOUNT field.
